VCMPA Volunteering Oppurtunities in August

Volunteering Opportunity at Public TV (PBS) – We are planning to help our Public TV station (Community Idea Stations, 23 Sesame Street Richmond, VA 23235) in their On-Air Membership Campaign on August 13th, 2006 (This coming Sunday) from 6:00 pm till 11:00 pm. We will be helping answering membership pledge phones. We need 6-8 volunteers. Dinner will be served. Let us know if you have to leave earlier. This option is possible. Please let us know if you can volunteer.

Volunteering Opportunity With EldersHome -We have a work session planned for Saturday August 19, 2006 , for ElderHomes (House Repairs of low-income disable elderly people) inshAllah from 9:00a.m. 1:00 p.m. – We will need 4-5 volunteers for this project.
